Folded Petals Tutorial

>> Monday, July 5, 2010

I love using wool felt to make flowers, but I really like my flowers to have some dimension.  Flat flowers just don't seem as happy to me!  I found a way to make a pretty popped up flower and it's super simple too!  Thought I'd share it with you...

You'll need-
6 felt circles (5 for the flower, 1 for the base)
scissors
hot glue gun
pretty button
pinback or bobby pin if you wish

I even made a smaller one for a necklace...

Love it! I have a stack of bright colored felt that I've been needing a project for! Thanks!

Love your ideas! They are simple enough for my girls class at church to do and me too! The Busy Beavers cbeavers.blogspot.com

um...I LOVE YOUR STUFF.

I came over from Ucreate. I loved those ruffle earrings, and then I was hooked on everything else you have on here.

I also live in a houseful of boys, but I haven't attempted to do as many wonderfully girly things. I need to start...maybe with this. It is GORGEOUS.

Yes I realized I just used caps a lot...I promise I am not shouting, just super excited to have found this site.

Come by and say hi sometime. I would love it.
