Sweet Gathered Roses (my grandma's "magic" roses)

Such a unique fabric flower, grandma called them "magic roses"...hope you like them!

You’ll need –

a square of fabric approx 4 inches x 4 inches (any size square will work...play with it)

Needle and thread

Glue gun

Felt scraps cut into leaves

Pinback



These are so fun to make and really have a unique look. 
 I hope you make them and love them as much as I do!

    How cool! I've seen that fabric at JoAnn's SO many times & have almost bought it, & then the last time I went & actually looked for it, they didn't have it anymore! Thanks for the tip!

    The great thing about these roses is you can really use ANY material from cotton to satin, tweed to lace and everything in between. I love playing with the sizes too...have fun! My grandma would be proud!

    These are so adorable. I made a miniature one using a 2 1/2" square and hot glued it to a bobby pin. I'm linking your tutorial up to my blog.
