Okay, I'm so excited to have some of my sweet little flowers included in the 2010 Oscars Gift Lounge! It's pretty cool, will aa fabulous celebrity pick up one of my flowers and fall in love, who knows...but I sure hope so! Honestly I'm just thrilled to be asked to have my flowers there in LA.
I am constantly trying to find new ways to use the random strips of fabric that are leftover from my flower creations. I just love creating cool unique accessories and most recently decided to try some wire word writing. But I added a twist...fabric wrapped wire! Of course I also added a little bloom too!
I just love, love, love anything that combines a natural rustic feel with a touch of glamour. I'm creating some new shabby chic spring flowers to add to my line of hair flowers. The best part is these sweeties are made from recycled fabric scraps. A sweet mix of wool felt, tulle, lace, fabric and a little rhinestone glam combine to create these little beauties. Hope you like them as much as I do ♥

Okay so I asked for a sewing machine for Christmas...2 years ago. I got it, and immediately tried to sew. I was not blessed with the sewing gene that was bestowed upon my mother and grandma, apparently it skipped right on past me. I started with the instruction book, it was like reading Japanese. I had so many projects going on at the time I ended up packing it up for a later date.
It's now a later date and I am determined to conquer this thing. So far so good...I made a ruffle necklace!!!!!!! I am so proud, seriously. I vow to continue to post my sewing projects and inspire other non sewers out there!
